Dubai-based contracting company Drake & Scull has been awarded a Dh218m contract to deliver a package of works for a “major education institution” in Kuwait.
The company will carry out mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works at the project, which is due to complete in 2018. This will include construction and maintenance of all power and lighting systems, as well as the fire alarms and audio-visual systems.
Drake & Scull said the award takes its total project wins for the year to date up to Dh1.57 billion in value.

The contract for the education institution is a prestigious win which further cements our association with Kuwait’s education sector.”
Drake & Scull has been operating in Kuwait since 2004 and completed several projects in the education sector, including the new College of Arts, the College of Business and the College of Health and Sciences for Girls at the expanded Kuwait University complex.
