Average cost of renting a studio apartment in Fujairah ranges between Dh11,000 and Dh20,000 per year, which translates to Dh917 and Dh1,667 per month, according to property consultancy Land Sterling.
In its first quarter 2016 report, it said one-bedroom units in the above emirate can be leased between Dh25,000 and Dh35,000 a year, while two-bed units are available for Dh23,000 to Dh32,000 per annum (pa).
In Umm Al Quwain, rents for studio units fall between Dh12,000 and Dh18,000 a year. One-bedroom unit can be rented for Dh20,000 to Dh26,000 pa, while two-bed units are available for Dh23,000 to Dh28,000 pa.
In Ajman, renting a studio unit can cost your Dh18,000 to Dh28,000 pa. One-bedroom units can be leased for Dh27,000 to Dh40,000 pa, while two-bed units can be rented for Dh28,000 to Dh60,000 pa.
In Ras Al Khaimah, studio units can be rented for Dh18,000 and Dh28,000 pa, according to Land Sterling. One- and two-bedroom units can cost between Dh21,000 to Dh50,000 pa, and Dh35,000 and Dh65,000 pa, respectively.
In Sharjah, rents for studio units ranges between Dh18,000 and Dh30,000 pa. One- and two-bedroom apartments cost anywhere between Dh28,000 and Dh50,000 pa, and Dh38,000 and Dh65,000 pa, respectively.
Rents in Sharjah have declined 2 per cent in quarter-on-quarter.
On average, Sharjah’s rentals fell 2 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 5 per cent year-on-year, with the highest decline being witnessed by studio units, the consultancy said.
