The third phase of Aldar Properties’ Yas Acres residential scheme opens for sale on October 4, the Abu Dhabi developer announced on Sunday.
The AED6 billion ($1.6 billion) golf and waterfront villa development on Yas Island comprises 260 homes, including 2- and 3-bedroom townhouses and 3- and 4-bedroom duplexes.
Prices for homes begin at AED2.3 million ($626,000) with sizes ranging from 200 square metres to 324 square metres, Aldar said in a statement to media.
The third-phase homes to be released for sale are located on the western side of Yas Acres, and Aldar said it is offering payment plans for buyers, including a ‘30:70’ plan, where 30 percent of the purchase price is payable during construction, with a 5 percent downpayment, and the remaining 70 percent payable at handover.
The scheme launched at Cityscape Abu Dhabi in April, and 90 percent of second-phase homes released to market since have been sold, Aldar added.
Construction of the off-plan scheme is scheduled to commence before the end of this year, with the first handovers to be made during the fourth quarter of 2019.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO of Aldar Properties, said: “The home owners and residents are central to the way in which Yas Acres has been planned, from the design of the villas and townhouses to the amenities and facilities.
“This has resulted in strong sales for the development, which we expect to continue with the launch of this third phase, bringing a new two bedroom townhouse offering to market. Our diverse buyer mix suggests that Yas Acres will become a unique and engaging community – and one of the most desirable addresses in Abu Dhabi.”
When completed, Yas Acres will also have two schools, a nine-hole golf course and member’s country club, mosques, a yacht club and marina, and a mix of retail and restaurants, swimming pools, parks and other leisure facilities.
