Dubai Properties on Wednesday announced 18 new buildings available for lease in its Remraam project in Dubailand.
The developer said in a statement that construction progress of the 18 new buildings, which contain 1,441 units, has reached 90 percent.
The new buildings add to the 60 buildings that have now been handed over in the Remraam development, and all new buildings, as well as the development’s second community centre, are set for full completion and handover by the fourth quarter of 2017.
DP said the new buildings are part of its strategy to address the high demand for affordable housing in Dubai.
Sahar Al Ansari, senior executive director Residential Asset Management, Dubai Properties, said: “Dubai Properties is committed to addressing the increasing need for affordable housing in Dubai, and these new buildings and the additional community centre are in line with our strategy to meet this evident socio-economic demand by offering residents the opportunity to lease spacious and comfortable homes with world-class community and retail facilities.”
The community will also feature a school and nursery, with construction of the nursery, The Wonder years Nursery, already underway while Remraam also offers swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, BBQ areas, walkways and children’s outdoor play areas.
